Children are encouraged to engage in self directed play with a variety of loose parts, real work tools, arts/crafts materials and by using elements of nature such as sticks, rocks, logs and water. Using observation as my guide, I gear my curriculum on the interests of the child and invite and encourage children to “be wild” by being themselves!

Children explore the beautiful surrounding landscape of Lyons, Colorado, along trails, the river, various ponds, sledding hills and the enchanted forest depending on the weather and season. Connect with friends and with nature. Unrestricted, self directed play and consciously guided adventure!

For those moments you just want to get your kiddos outdoors, but all the millions of things you have to do as a parent won't let you. Drop your children off at backyard base-camp for one on one, or join another family for sensory rich, nature immersed, therapeutic and wild nature play.
All ages
You pick the hours that work for you! Let's create a consistent weekly schedule (if needed) together!
$35-50 an hour (depends on how many siblings/children and ages.) Invite another family to share the cost! Please spread the word and let me know if you're interested ASAP. Love and nature play,
