Welcome to Camp Udenfor, where nature is our classroom, and wild play is our curriculum. Inspired by Danish and Waldorf educational principles, Camp Udenfor offers a unique outdoor immersion and exploration program for children ages 3 and up.
At Camp Udenfor, we believe in the transformative power of unrestricted outdoor play. Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that children thrive when given the freedom to explore, create, and learn in natural settings. We emphasize learner-driven experiences, holistic development, and the importance of fostering a deep connection to the environment.
Our approach is centered around providing children with unhurried time to play wildly in nature with friends. We prioritize self-directed exploration, allowing children to follow their curiosities and discover themselves and the world around them. Camp Udenfor aims to cultivate resilience, independence, and a sense of wonder through meaningful outdoor experiences.

Our program follows a natural rhythm that mirrors the cycles of nature. We alternate between periods of active exploration and moments of calm reflection, ensuring a balanced experience for every child. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where children feel secure, relaxed, and empowered to engage fully in their surroundings.
Each day at Camp Udenfor is filled with adventures in nature. Children engage in nature-based, self-directed play activities such as building forts, exploring trails, digging in the dirt, and creating art with natural materials. We provide a balance of physical activity, quiet contemplation, and group interactions to support holistic growth and development.
